At BPM SFX, transparency is at the heart of everything we do, and our monthly articles are our way of giving those interested in our work a genuine and in-depth look at what we have been up to. Rather than simply showcasing the highlights, we want to offer a fuller picture of life at BPM SFX. We believe that the more people understand about us, the stronger the relationships we are able to build within our industry.
Each article is carefully structured around our slogan — What We Do — and covers three key areas that together reflect the full scope of our company. The first focuses on the innovation, creativity, and expertise, shining a light on the developments, technologies, and ideas that keep BPM SFX at the forefront of the industry. The second covers the people, culture, and community, celebrating the individuals and teams that make our company special. The third highlights the events, shows, and festivals we, showcasing the productions and performances where our work truly comes to life. This months coverage is as follows:

DRAKE PYRO AT WIRELESS FESTIVAL
July brought one of the most exciting challenges of the year so far, as BPM SFX was tasked with providing SFX for a range of artists performing at the iconic Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park, London. The weekend lineup featured major acts including Burna Boy, SahBabii, Lancey Foux, Boy Better Know, and Summer Walker - but the highlight came in being asked to design and deliver a Display Pyro to close Drake’s headline set at the end of each festival day.
Each evening’s display required a unique configuration, so our team carefully distributed and planned the Pyro across the weekend, with certain nights calling for larger and more complex setups than others. Once the creative direction was finalised with the client, our Technicians used CAD software to simulate and visualise the Pyro sequences in advance, ensuring precise coordination and maximum visual impact. From design to execution, the results spoke for themselves as they provided a spectacular end to each day’s performances.
UPDATES AROUND THE OAK MILL HQ
Back at our Oak Mill HQ, July brought a few exciting updates that reflect the continued growth and evolution of BPM SFX. Earlier this year, we were honoured to receive a stunning glass sculpture from Pangolin Laser Systems as a gesture of appreciation for our ongoing partnership. This unique piece now proudly sits in our conference room as a reminder of the strong relationships we’ve built within the industry.
We’ve also made several improvements around the building, including the installation of a new signpost proudly marking our Oak Mill headquarters - a visible symbol of our presence to those passing by. For our growing team, we’ve expanded parking availability to ensure there’s ample space for everyone as activity ramps up for the busy festival season. Our HQ continues to evolve in line with our ambitions, and we look forward to sharing even more updates.
OASIS LIVE ‘25
July also marked one of the biggest and most talked-about events of the year - the Oasis Live ’25 tour. As one of the most anticipated reunion tours in recent memory, BPM SFX was proud to play a major role by providing Display Pyro to close each night of the UK shows in Manchester, Edinburgh, and London. Across 15 unforgettable performances, our team delivered spectacular finales that perfectly captured the scale and emotion of the band’s return to the stage.
In Manchester, the Pyro was positioned behind the stage to frame the performance with a powerful visual backdrop, while in Edinburgh and London, our technicians installed the displays on the stadium roofs, creating breathtaking moments that filled the sky. Each show was executed flawlessly, and the response from audiences was electric. We’re delighted to help bring the UK leg to a close when Oasis return to London for their final run of shows.
