The exterior of the Oak Mill HQ was one of the first things we set our sights on when we took ownership of the building, and the transformation speaks for itself. What was once a tired and weathered facade has been brought back to life through a complete makeover, with the bottom half of the building painted a striking black and the brick and stonework on the upper half carefully cleaned and restored to reveal the character and charm that had been hidden beneath years of wear. The result is a building that makes a statement — visually impressive and immediately reflective of the standards we hold ourselves to at BPM SFX.
Beyond its appearance, the exterior has also been designed with practicality firmly in mind. The car park has been fully renovated to ensure it is accessible for all members of staff, while also being large enough to accommodate the trucks and transport vehicles that are a regular part of our operation, allowing equipment to be loaded and unloaded with ease. It is this combination of striking appearance and practical functionality that sets the tone for everything you will find inside the Oak Mill HQ — a building that works as hard as the people within it.

The warehouse at the Oak Mill HQ is where a significant portion of the operational heart of BPM SFX comes to life. Spanning a substantial footprint, the space has been carefully organised into a multitude of areas, each serving a distinct and vital purpose. Dedicated storage spaces house our full range of SFX, Lasers, and Extras, ensuring everything is kept in order. Workbenches provide our team with the space to work with and maintain our products, while both indoor and outdoor testing areas allow us to prepare and check our units thoroughly before they are deployed. A small office space within the warehouse also keeps a watchful eye over the day-to-day running of the floor.
The sheer size and organisation of this space is one of the key reasons BPM SFX is able to deliver so flawlessly across such a wide variety of events, and it was no coincidence that the warehouse was one of the most compelling factors in our decision to take over Oak Mill in the first place. From the moment we saw it, we knew it was the perfect fit for what we needed — a space large enough to accommodate our growing inventory and versatile enough to support every aspect of our operation. The result is a warehouse that is as impressive in its organisation as it is in its scale, and one that plays an indispensable role in everything we do.

MIDLANDS WAREHOUSE

Our Midlands Warehouse is a vital part of the BPM SFX operation, giving us an additional base from which to work and strengthening our ability to deliver for clients across the country. Its central location makes it far easier to move equipment to and from jobs, so our kit reaches its destination quickly and efficiently wherever the work takes us. With this extra facility, we have greater flexibility in how we plan, prepare and deploy for each project, so our clients receive the same reliability and care they have always come to expect from us.
Beyond its role as an operational hub, the Midlands Warehouse is also the heart of our engineering work. It is where our team designs, builds and refines the equipment that sets BPM SFX apart, and where we continue to push the boundaries of what our effects can achieve.
