At BPM SFX, transparency is at the heart of everything we do, and our monthly articles are our way of giving those interested in our work a genuine and in-depth look at what we have been up to. We believe that the more people understand about us, the stronger the relationships we are able to build within our industry.

The first focuses on the innovation, creativity, and expertise, shining a light on the developments, technologies, and ideas that keep BPM SFX at the forefront of the industry. The second covers the people, culture, and community, celebrating the individuals and teams that make our company special. CHRIS BROWN WORLD TOUR

This month marked the conclusion of our incredible 2025 world stadium tour with Chris Brown. Beginning all the way back in June, the five-month tour started in Europe with shows across the Netherlands, Germany, France, and multiple cities throughout the UK and Ireland, before heading across the Atlantic for over 30 performances throughout the United States and Canada. Each leg of the tour was executed to the highest standard, making it one of the biggest highlights of the year for BPM SFX.

The production featured a comprehensive range of SFX and lasers, including Magic FX Co2 Jets, PsyCo2 Jets, Hell Fires, Explo Wave Flames, C Quads, MDG Ice Fog Qs, The One Haze, Smoke Socks, our in-house Typhoon and Firewall systems, Kvant Lasers with Pangolin control featuring Atom 42s and Atom 120s, as well as Stage and Display Pyro. The preparation for such a large-scale tour required extensive planning, coordination, and a dedicated team on the road for months. We couldn’t be prouder of the exceptional work carried out by our staff and the phenomenal results achieved throughout this monumental tour.

BPM SFX ACROSS THE WORLD

The Chris Brown tour wasn’t the only major project we wrapped up in North America this month - our Sleep Token US tour also came to a successful close, marking another series of flawless shows. Meanwhile, back in the UK, worked continued with The Kooks’ arena tour taking place, as well as special performances with Duran Duran, Peggy Gou, and the Rong indoor festival.

Even as we transition out of the busy festival season, our staff have shown no signs of slowing down. The energy, commitment, and drive from everyone across the company have been outstanding, and we’re excited to carry that momentum into the final months of 2025.

CREAM CLASSICAL

Closing out October was a particularly unique event - Cream Classical at the Liverpool Cathedral. Earlier in the year, we had the pleasure of working with On The Waterfront and Cream Classical for their spectacular Pier Head show, and we were thrilled to be invited back to provide lasers for this special two-night event.

Our team worked closely with the production to integrate the lasers seamlessly into the stage design, planning optimal placement to complement the cathedral’s incredible architecture. This was followed by three days of programming to perfect the timing and choreography of the lasers. The show featured Kvant Atom 42s and our in-house MFL units, equipped with diffraction lenses and controlled via Pangolin Laser Systems. With the lasers running perfectly on timecode, both performances were executed flawlessly, creating a breathtaking experience that captivated the audience from start to finish.
