DESERVED RECOGNITION
27 FEBRUARY 2026
At BPM SFX, transparency is at the heart of everything we do, and our monthly articles are our way of giving those interested in our work a genuine and in-depth look at what we have been up to. Rather than simply showcasing the highlights, we want to offer a fuller picture of life at BPM SFX. We believe that the more people understand about us, the stronger the relationships we are able to build within our industry.
Each article is carefully structured around our slogan — What We Do — and covers three key areas that together reflect the full scope of our company. The first focuses on the innovation, creativity, and expertise, shining a light on the developments, technologies, and ideas that keep BPM SFX at the forefront of the industry. The second covers the people, culture, and community, celebrating the individuals and teams that make our company special. The third highlights the events, shows, and festivals we, showcasing the productions and performances where our work truly comes to life. This months coverage is as follows:
Solomun
What - The innovation, creativity, and expertise
TPi Awards 2026
We - The people, culture, and community
Machine Gun Kelly UK and Europe Tour
Do - The events, shows, and festivals
These articles are also shared on our LinkedIn page, where we provide the same updates to our wider network of industry professionals, clients, and followers. Whether you are a long-standing client, a fellow industry professional, or simply someone curious about the world of live events, we hope these updates give you a meaningful insight.
SOLOMUN
At the start of February, we had the pleasure of joining Solomun for his show at the Alexandra Palace. Preparation began at our HQ before our team travelled to the venue several days in advance to begin the setup for the production. The intricate set design required careful positioning of the laser systems to ensure they complemented the overall visual aesthetic of the show while delivering powerful atmospherics throughout the performance.
For the event we supplied Kvant Atom 42 laser projectors positioned across multiple points on the stage, alongside Viper DeLuxe units used to enhance the visibility and density of the laser beams. We also mapped the automation of the lasers moving inwards above several stage positions, creating a layered overhead effect that added depth and intensity to the visuals. The results were spectacular and helped elevate the overall production.
TPI AWARDS 2026
During February we were delighted to attend this year’s TPi Awards as suppliers, nominees and winners. This year we were nominated for Favourite SFX Supplier of the Year, while Jack Webber and Phillip Mathew both received nominations for the SFX Operator of the Year award. We were incredibly proud to see Jack take home the award after just missing out last year. Both Jack and Phillip were more than worthy of nominations and have made us incredibly proud.
Additionally, the Oasis Live ’25 tour, which we supplied SFX for, also won Outstanding Event Production of the Year. It was also our pleasure to contribute to the production of the awards ceremony itself by supplying both SFX and lasers. Effects included Galaxis G-Flames and Eco2 Jets placed around the outside entrance, with Atom 58 lasers, Sparkular units and low smoke generators were used to build a dramatic atmosphere for the start of the ceremony. We look forward to returning to the TPi Awards again next year.
MACHINE GUN KELLY UK AND EUROPE TOUR
Finally, February marked the start of one of our biggest tours of the year so far as we joined Machine Gun Kelly for his UK and Europe arena tour. Beginning in Bologna and continuing across more than fifteen European cities, the tour has already visited some of the continent’s largest arenas. As with all major touring productions, extensive preparation took place at our Oak Mill HQ to ensure the equipment, programming and logistics were all ready.
Each performance features a powerful combination of effects including Magic FX Flameblazers, Galaxis G-Flames, MDG Low Fog and stage pyro, all carefully integrated to match the energy of the performance. The results so far have been fantastic, creating a dramatic and immersive environment for the audience at every show. We are excited to continue across the remaining dates and look forward to closing out the tour in spectacular fashion.
