ANTICIPATED REVELATION
30 OCTOBER 2026
At BPM SFX, transparency is at the heart of everything we do, and our monthly articles are our way of giving those interested in our work a genuine and in-depth look at what we have been up to. Rather than simply showcasing the highlights, we want to offer a fuller picture of life at BPM SFX. We believe that the more people understand about us, the stronger the relationships we are able to build within our industry.
Each article is carefully structured around our slogan — What We Do — and covers three key areas that together reflect the full scope of our company. The first focuses on the innovation, creativity, and expertise, shining a light on the developments, technologies, and ideas that keep BPM SFX at the forefront of the industry. The second covers the people, culture, and community, celebrating the individuals and teams that make our company special. The third highlights the events, shows, and festivals we, showcasing the productions and performances where our work truly comes to life. This months coverage is as follows:
Luke Littler
What - The innovation, creativity, and expertise
Website Relaunch
We - The people, culture, and community
Don Toliver
Do - The events, shows, and festivals
These articles are also shared on our LinkedIn page, where we provide the same updates to our wider network of industry professionals, clients, and followers. Whether you are a long-standing client, a fellow industry professional, or simply someone curious about the world of live events, we hope these updates give you a meaningful insight.
LUKE LITTLER
To kick off October, we were asked to provide SFX for an incredibly exciting production as we joined Luke Littler and Netflix for Beat Luke Littler. The show invited members of the public to take on Luke in a game of darts, with the chance to win a cash prize if they managed to beat him. The event was filmed for broadcast on Netflix, with our role focused on creating a spectacular celebration for the eventual winner and marking their incredible achievement.
Working around the event's set-up presented the main challenge, as we needed to carefully position our equipment to ensure the effects could be delivered safely and effectively while accommodating both the people on stage and the camera positions. To heighten the winning moment, we supplied a combination of Power Shots and Sparkulars, adding an extra level of excitement to the celebration. It was a fantastic production to be involved in, and we were delighted to play our part in bringing such a memorable moment to life.
WEBSITE RELAUNCH
One of our biggest internal milestones announced in October was the relaunch of the BPM SFX website, following a complete top-to-bottom refurbishment. Earlier in the year, we recognised the need to create a website that better reflected our target audience while also aligning more closely with the direction and continued development of the company. With this in mind, we set out to improve the overall user experience and create a digital platform that brings together everything that makes BPM SFX what it is today.
The new website will sit at the forefront of our digital presence, offering a refreshed way to explore our extensive effects arsenal, learn more about the company, discover some of our standout projects and find out more. It has been an exciting project for the team, with plenty of work going on behind the scenes to bring the new platform together. We strongly encourage everyone to take a look, explore what's new and discover the updated BPM SFX experience.
DON TOLIVER
October also marked the start of our exciting UK and European arena tour with Don Toliver. With high-impact effects designed to match the energy and scale of the performances, the tour has been one of our most ambitious productions of the year. Spanning 18 different venues and requiring careful planning to deliver a consistent production across each stop.
For this tour, we have been supplying a combination of SFX and lasers, including Wave Flames, G-Flames, Eco2 Jets, Vesuvios, Ice Fog Qs, Smoke Socks, Viper DeLuxe and Kvant Atom 58s. Together, these effects help create a dynamic visual experience that complements the performances and brings an added level of impact to the show. The tour has been fantastic so far, and we hope to work with Don Toliver again in the future.
