ADAPTING INTERNALLY

27 JUNE 2025

At BPM SFX, transparency is at the heart of everything we do, and our monthly articles are our way of giving those interested in our work a genuine and in-depth look at what we have been up to. Rather than simply showcasing the highlights, we want to offer a fuller picture of life at BPM SFX. We believe that the more people understand about us, the stronger the relationships we are able to build within our industry.

Each article is carefully structured around our slogan — What We Do — and covers three key areas that together reflect the full scope of our company. The first focuses on the innovation, creativity, and expertise, shining a light on the developments, technologies, and ideas that keep BPM SFX at the forefront of the industry. The second covers the people, culture, and community, celebrating the individuals and teams that make our company special. The third highlights the events, shows, and festivals we, showcasing the productions and performances where our work truly comes to life. This months coverage is as follows:

New Built In House Racks
What - The innovation, creativity, and expertise

Branded Equipment Arrivals
We - The people, culture, and community

Download Festival
Do - The events, shows, and festivals

These articles are also shared on our LinkedIn page, where we provide the same updates to our wider network of industry professionals, clients, and followers. Whether you are a long-standing client, a fellow industry professional, or simply someone curious about the world of live events, we hope these updates give you a meaningful insight.

NEW BUILT IN HOUSE RACKS

Innovation has always been at the core of what we do at BPM SFX, and one of our proudest developments this year has been the creation of new in-house Racks. These systems have been designed with an upcoming world tour in mind but are also versatile enough to be applied to future projects across a wide range of events. By developing our own technology in-house, we are able to tailor solutions specifically to the demands of our productions while maintaining the highest levels of reliability and efficiency.

The process behind the Racks involved multiple stages, starting with digital design and concept work, followed by hardware sourcing, precision manufacturing, and final construction. Once built, the systems underwent rigorous testing to ensure they met our performance and safety standards before being handed over to our technicians for training. The introduction of these new Racks will allow us to streamline workflows, enhance show delivery, and continue raising the level of production that BPM SFX is known for worldwide.

BRANDED EQUIPMENT ARRIVALS

Following last month’s new arrivals of SFX and laser products, June brought another set of exciting updates with the delivery of custom-branded equipment from two of our trusted partners, 5 Star Cases and AC Entertainment Technologies. Our relationship with both suppliers has been built over many years, and their support continues to help us operate at the highest possible standard across all of our projects.

5 Star Cases provided us with custom-built flight cases designed to protect and transport some of our newest additions, including Kvant Lasers, Magic FX Co2 Jets, and Showven C-Flamer Quads. AC Entertainment Technologies supplied us with new power cables, each branded with the BPM SFX logo on the ends for easy identification and a professional finish.

DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL

Another highlight in our busy summer calendar came at the legendary Download Festival, held at Donington Park. Known for its scale and energy, the festival provided the perfect stage for our SFX, which featured across performances from artists including Sleep Token, Don Broco, Static Dress, The Darkness, and many more. It was an incredible opportunity to contribute to one of the UK’s most iconic festivals and to support such a wide variety of acts across the weekend.

Our team supplied a comprehensive package of effects that included Magic FX Eco Jets and Swirl Fans, Galaxis G Flames, MDG Ice Fog Q units, and 30w Lasers. These effects played a key role in amplifying the atmosphere and enhancing the performances of each artist we worked with. We are proud to have been part of Download 2025 and look forward to returning in the future, as well as joining Sleep Token again later this year.
